BEGINNING OF A WEALTH-BUILDING JOURNEY

A young couple was referred to Range as they started looking to purchase their first home together. They were very open to not only learning about the process of purchasing a home, but also how to maximize their future return from this home. They agreed and realized that their first home was not going to be their forever home and that, even in a period of relatively higher interest rates, moving into real estate in Montana was a good move.

 

THE DETAILS

 

We ended up finding them a townhouse-style condo. This condo had all the elements that Range advises to look for in a first purchase.

  • They would be comfortable living in the home for a few years.
  • It did not need any major work, just some cosmetic updates to make it more their style.
  • It had scarce and special elements that would help the home stand out from other listings and garner a higher price per square foot when they were ready to sell it.
  • In this case, the scarce and special elements included: end unit location with lots of extra windows and an abundance of light; dedicated open space with paths to local businesses; and nice, unobstructed Bridger views.

 

We all were confident in this strong choice to begin their family wealth-building journey, and they are already enjoying their new home.
