Here comes summer…and the thousands of people who descend on Bozeman to take advantage of our cool little city with its great restaurants, hip shops and it’s incredible proximity to the backcountry. Most people stay in Bozeman and then venture out but the Bridger Pines Townhomes provide the perfect opportunity to turn that dynamic around. The Bridger Pines Townhomes are located only 15 easy and scenic miles from Bozeman and are saddled between Bridger Bowl and Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. As a matter of fact, both the areas are easily accessible by biking or walking from the Townhomes!
Imagine waking up and enjoying your coffee while taking in the quiet and pine scented air before heading out.
From Bridger Bowl there is so much recreation to be had, even in the summer!
Some of our favorite hikes include:
- Sacajawea Peak – about a 5 mile walk with a healthy elevation gain and stunning views of the Gallatin Valley. If you are lucky, you will run into some of the local mountain goats!
- If you are even more ambitious, continue on to finish the 19 mile Bridger Ridge Trail back in Bozeman.
- An easier but still stunning hike is the walk to Fairy Lake. Once you arrive enjoy the emerald and turquoise water of the lake. Simply beautiful!
For some mountain biking fun:
- Head over to Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. They have trails here for biking as well as hiking and trail running.
- Bridger Range Trails – all skill levels can be accommodated on trails such as Bridger Foothills Pass , Johnson Canyon etc.
And did you know that this year, Crosscut is hosting the Spartan Race June 1-2? For the fearless, the Spartan race offers several distances from sprint 5K to a 50K all with lots of obstacles to prove your mettle.
After a full day recreating, maybe mosey into Bozeman for dinner…or maybe just relax, enjoy the views and throw some burgers on the grill.
